Destiny Christian Boys Basketball is one of the premier athletic programs in Northern California and proudly represents Destiny Christian Academy—an institution committed to serving families across the greater Sacramento region through faith-based education.
Our program is more than just basketball. We are devoted to developing high-character, well-rounded student-athletes who strive for excellence on the court, in the classroom, and within their communities. Guided by our core values—faith, fellowship, discipline, and performance—we believe basketball and education together can transform lives and raise up young men who are a blessing to their families, and their future.
Each year, DCA Boys Basketball serves:
Over 45 high school players
More than 30 middle school athletes
And hundreds of elementary students and community members through seasonal camps and clinics
Over 60% of our participants are considered at-risk youth, many of whom rely on DCA coaches and staff for mentorship, structure, and supportive relationships.
Running this program costs over $75,000 annually—covering uniforms, team gear, travel, lodging, tournament fees, officiating, meals, and team-building activities. While Destiny Christian Academy contributes a portion of the budget, we depend on generous supporters to help close the gap.
100% of your donation goes directly toward supporting our student-athletes. Your gift helps us continue to uplift, inspire, and equip the next generation.
Thank you for considering a contribution to Destiny Christian Academy Boys Basketball. Your support makes a lasting impact!
The Capital Cup adapts the historic Ryder Cup format—steeped in tradition—to promote community pride, healthy competition, and raise money for the Sacramento region’s most deserving charities. Each year, leaders from the Sacramento region are divided into two teams for an exciting 3-day golf competition. Donors have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization. The winning team's designated charities share a prize fund of $100,000! The tournament started with the ambitious goal of raising $250,000 in its first year. When it well surpassed that goal, the tournament committee raised the bar, and has continued to do so every year since—and every year, the participating golfers exceed expectations. The Capital Cup has raised more than $20 million over its history.
