If you're reading this, there's a good chance we've worked together, been friends for years, played a round of golf, gone to church together, or simply crossed paths somewhere along the way. First, thank you for taking a few minutes to hear me out.
I'm raising $25,000 for Powerhouse Ministries in Folsom, and this mission has become deeply personal to me.
I've been incredibly fortunate. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, and a career that's given me opportunities I'll never take for granted.
But the truth is, the life I have today didn't happen by accident.
I was raised by a mother who sacrificed everything she had for her kids. She endured abusive relationships, faced incredibly difficult circumstances, and somehow always found a way to shield us from the worst of it. No matter how hard life became, she made sure we knew we were loved. She taught us to be resilient, to work hard, and to make the very best of whatever circumstances we were given.
Watching her fight for us shaped the person I am today. More importantly, it taught me something I'll never forget: sometimes all it takes is one person who refuses to give up on you to change the course of your life.
That's why this mission resonates with me so deeply.
Powerhouse Ministries offers a way out for people who are ready to break free from the cycles of homelessness, addiction, abuse, sex trafficking, mental illness, and incarceration. They don't simply meet immediate needs. They walk alongside people, helping them rebuild their confidence, restore their dignity, and create a path toward a better future.
I've already made my own donation because I believe in this mission. Now I'm asking if you'll consider joining me.
My goal is to raise $25,000, but this isn't about one person writing one big check. It's about a community of people coming together, each doing what they can.
Whether your gift is $1, $100, $500, or more, every dollar makes a difference. And if giving isn't possible right now, sharing this page with others is another meaningful way to help.
I know there are countless worthy causes you could support, so I don't take this request lightly. The fact that you've taken the time to read this means more to me than you know.
Thank you for considering a donation. Thank you for believing that every person deserves hope, a second chance, and someone who believes in them.

Because I know from my own life that when someone chooses to stand beside you during your hardest moments, it can change the trajectory of your future.
Together, we can help Powerhouse Ministries be that difference for someone else.
The Capital Cup adapts the historic Ryder Cup format—steeped in tradition—to promote community pride, healthy competition, and raise money for the Sacramento region’s most deserving charities. Each year, leaders from the Sacramento region are divided into two teams for an exciting 3-day golf competition. Donors have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization. The winning team's designated charities share a prize fund of $100,000! The tournament started with the ambitious goal of raising $250,000 in its first year. When it well surpassed that goal, the tournament committee raised the bar, and has continued to do so every year since—and every year, the participating golfers exceed expectations. The Capital Cup has raised more than $18 million over its history.
